Camp Cade Fall Fest & Haunted Hayride Liability Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement

By purchasing a ticket and/or entering the grounds of the Camp Cade Fall Fest & Haunted Hayride (“Event”), located at 4500 E. River Rd, Ridott, IL, I hereby agree to the following terms on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and any minors for whom I purchase tickets:

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and understand that participation in the Event involves inherent and voluntary risks, including but not limited to:

Uneven terrain, low visibility, and outdoor conditions (mud, gravel, grass, wooded trails).
Contact with scare actors, loud noises, strobe lights, fog, pyrotechnics, and other special effects.
Risk of tripping, falling, collisions, or other accidents in dark or crowded areas.
Potential exposure to weather-related hazards, insects, animals, or environmental conditions.
The possibility of physical or emotional injury, property loss, or even death.

I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Event organizers, staff, volunteers, property owners, vendors, or sponsors.

2. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Camp Cade LLC, its owners, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, vendors, sponsors, performers, and property owners (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action, in law or equity, that may arise from my participation or attendance at the Event. This release covers any and all claims for injury, illness, loss, or damage, whether caused by negligence, acts of omission, or otherwise.

3. Indemnification & Hold Harmless

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties against any claims, damages, costs, expenses, or liabilities (including attorney’s fees) arising from my participation in the Event or the participation of any minor(s) for whom I purchase tickets.

4. Medical Authorization

In the event of injury or illness, I authorize the Event staff or medical personnel to secure emergency medical treatment. I assume full responsibility for any resulting medical expenses.

5. Parental/Guardian Consent for Minors

If I am purchasing tickets for minors, I represent that I am the parent/legal guardian of such minors and consent to their participation under this Agreement. I accept all risks and responsibilities on their behalf.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All ticket sales are final.
Refunds will only be issued if the Event is cancelled by the organizers.
The Event is a rain-or-shine event; weather conditions, scare level, or personal circumstances are not grounds for a refund.

7. Code of Conduct

I agree to abide by all Event rules, including but not limited to:

No weapons, alcohol, or illegal substances.
No disorderly, aggressive, or disruptive behavior.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the Event without refund.

8. Photo & Media Release

I grant permission for my likeness (and the likeness of any minors in my care) to be photographed, filmed, or recorded during the Event and used by Camp Cade LLC for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes without compensation.

9. Severability

If any portion of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Binding Agreement

By purchasing a ticket and/or entering the Event grounds, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this Liability Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement. This Agreement shall be binding upon me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

By completing a ticket purchase, you are electronically signing and agreeing to this waiver.
